Lean Down Your Design!

When quality is important, you will want to partner with a company that is focused on  quality control at every step of the design and production process.

Corefficient ensures design optimization by implementing several rounds of testing and value-added services such as core annealing.

The first step in Corefficient’s quality control process is testing the raw materials that will be used in the product. Corefficient’s testing procedures include: single-sheet, dimensional, Epstein, and Franklin testing. These tests collectively ensure proper magnetic flux, permeability, surface insulation resistance, and consistency of material width and thickness.

Corefficient strives for optimal core functioning. After testing raw materials, fully automated machinery is used for cutting and assembling the final product. Full automation means the cores are hot off the assembly line within 15-20 minutes after line initiation.

Further, Corefficient’s SECO/WARWICK annealing furnace is used to restore the magnetic properties of cores, as needed, and improve strength, formability, and elasticity.

Quality and design optimization of electrical transformer cores is fully dependent on every step of the process being completed with care and precision. Corefficient employs proven testing methods and state-of-the-art machinery to ensure minimum core loss and a long healthy life for your transformer.
